Thermalbad Oberlaa

Vienna's only thermal bath is located right in the south of the city. You can choose from a wide range of modern spa facilities. There are two indoor and two outdoor thermal pools, all with jet showers, a bubbling bath and one outdoor swimming pool (1,500m2 of water). The extensive modern sauna area covers a Finnish sauna (various temperatures, mixed and single- sex), aroma- therapy chambers (eucalyptus, hay flower and camomile), a steam bath and a pool for a special cure developed by the famous Austrian medical doctor Kneipp. There is also a sauna with temperatures ranging around 50 C, where electrostatic fields produce a kind of "Caribbean alpine climate". You can pamper yourself with a visit to the solarium or a wide range of massage treatments such as a sports massage and an anti- stress massage. "Liquid Sound", a combination of soothing underwater music with special light effects, is unique to this oasis of relaxation.
