Wiener Festwochen 2005

From 7 May to 19 June, the Wiener Festwochen, headed by Artistic Director Luc Bondy with Drama Director Stefanie Carp and Music Director Stéphane Lissner, will present a multi- faceted and varied programme consisting of 37 productions – including 6 world premieres, 4 new productions and 4 European premieres from 22 countries - and 164 performances. 55,000 tickets will be on sale. The ensembles come from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the U.S.
