Onyx Bar

Housed in the glass- fronted "Haashaus", the Onyx Bar is a ultra- sleek affair, both in terms of the interior, the staff (who are all rather good looking) and the extremely appetising drinks menu! During the day, it serves as a café for media, public relations and arty types who like their coffee in anything but the usual way i.e. black! Come the evening however (when the yellow onyx bar lights up) and Vienna's VIPs and high society head for this hippest of Vienna hangouts. Oh, and did we mention the view? St. Stephen's Cathedral and the square below look fantastic from the building's sixth floor. In fact, it's the best view you can get (simply because you don't have to put up with the Haashaus from the outside).
